It is important that your first and last name appears on the card clearly printed.

Write your handicap on the card clearly.

Make sure you always date the card.

Write down the GROSS score in the correct column. If Stableford or Par is played and you understand the scoring system write down the score in the column provided. If you do not understand the system leave it blank.

Ensure that you and your marker agree on the GROSS score.

Ensure that you and your marker agree on the total, then Sign the card in the correct place.

When you have finished your course, hand in your card.

A few further tips:

  • Please use a black or blue biro, and if a mistake is made put a stroke through the wrong figure and place the correct figure next to it.
  • Golfers who do not have handicaps and wish to acquire one must enter three stroke play cards from a course which has an ACR (Australian Course Rating). Cards must be signed by a person who hold a current handicap.
  • If golfers play at a course which does not have an ACR then the card is of no value for handicapping purposes.
