BGA Core 01 - Blacked Out Glasses

The International Blind Golf Association (IBGA) had devised a similar policy to ensure that all B1 golfers participated on a fair and equitable basis at IBGA Sanctioned competitions.

Until the introduction of this Policy there had been many issues raised in determining the eligibility of B1 golfers and this included allegations of unfairness and cheating.

With the introduction of Blacked-Out Glasses this Policy will ensure an equal playing field and the opportunity of winning for all B1 golfers.

BGA Core 02 - Lodging of Complaints

The Board of Blind Golf Australia recognises this By-Law introduces a changed approach to how complaints should be handled and the various tribunal principles and procedures necessary for the effective implementation of this revised policy.

A key fundamental of this new policy is the setting up of Investigation Panel hearings, Tribunal hearings, and Appeal Tribunal hearings.

BGA Core 03 - Order of Merit Policy

Blind Golf Australia (BGA) has devised this policy to ensure that all blind golfers are participating on a fair and equitable basis and receive the appropriate recognition and opportunities for their efforts and endeavours towards selection to compete in international competitions.

BGA Core 04 - Sight Classification and Forms

Each BGA Member organisation shall provide the BGA Secretary with the original IBGA/BGA sight classification documents for any new or re-classified players within 14 days of the completion of any new test.

BGA Core 05 - Motorised Cart Policy

The Blind Golf Australia (BGA) Motorised Carts Policy came into operation for all golfers and caddies effective from 1st March 2009.

The BGA Motorised Carts Policy is to be used for all BGA Sanctioned tournaments/events.

BGA Core 06 - Disciplinary Policy

Blind Golf Australia (BGA) Members Suspended or Expelled for Disciplinary Reasons Policy will come into operation for all golfers and caddies of member organisations and BGA sanctioned tournaments/events effective from 1st March, 2009.
